Free lootz!!!1
Spirit kings was the fourth boss of Mogu-shan Vaults and one we anticipated we’d have to work at. It took a handful of pulls to figure out what to get out of, one pull for Zellania to realise that frost nova-ing the raid in front of a line of Mogus with swords was a bad idea, one more for Zellania to remember that frost nova-ing the raid in front of a line of Mogus with swords was a bad idea, and one to kill it. The raid was just giving it a final pull before flasking and having a real try when it went ahead and died anyway. I guess everyone had read their WoW 101 pre-raid. For once.
Now we have as many bosses as the first guild on the realm, and they have aproximately 6,000 members and a huge horde side to choose from. We’re officially chuffed. Gz all!

It’s the first week of raiding and we’re having a load of fun!
First off, we killed a pack of dogs. There is no denying that it took us a little bit* longer than expected to pass the first boss, mainly because the names ‘amythyst guardian’, ‘jade guardian’ and ’cobalt guardian’ are so f-ing ridiculous. Call it like it is, Blizz: ‘purple dog’, ‘green dog, ‘blue dog’. Grubbles started saying ‘stay like that’ in his sleep. Lhyxie rolled around. Scram went to the pub. We cheered when we killed it and quickly screenshotted our ‘Realm Number One’ flag on wowprogress before the other guilds added their kills. We were down to 2nd by the next morning, but happy to be top of the alliance side.**

Next up was Feng the Accursed. By this point in time Fogh and Deathsgrand had both disappeared into oblivion and we had no off tank, so Kitteh donned his tank gear. Which was actually his cat gear, but it worked out fine in the end. Pushing the dps was super hard for us so we decided to drop to 2 healers. Skuggulla went dps before consulting numerous sources and informing us multiple times that he was the 120th best shadow priest in the world. The whole world. We cheered again when we killed it because we hated every second of it. Accursed boss.

Finally it was on to the last boss of the wing. This was a really fun encounter which reminded us of Algalon in Ulduar. Or that boss that appeared late in WOTLK that we killed a couple of times then got bored of. Minus the beam. We thought we would 2 heal, so Zolor reforged. Then we decided to 3 heal for a bit, so Zolor reforged. Then someone had to leave and we swapped roles, so Zolor reforged. Sometimes there were 3 dps in the spirit world, sometimes there were none. Either way we decided that we should definitely 2 heal it and that Zolor should reforge. After that we killed it.*** Huzzah.

And with that, we completed the first wing ahead of the rest of the alliance side and in 2nd position over all. GJ to all and gz to those who looted (or were given loots by their very kind higher-rolling monk friend #shutzeyouoweme).
Yey <Cyanide>!
* a lot
** haha how did THAT happen?!
*** actually after the 120th best shadow priest in the world joined the raid. The whole world.

Welcome to Mists of Pandaria!
…and welcome back to everyone who took a well-deserved pre-expansion break!
In the name of all things black, white and fluffy, <Cyanide> started the expansion with achievements for realm first Monk (Lhyxie), as well as a realm-first skinner (Kitteh). Let’s hope the luck lasts for the new raids!

Congrats to everyone on the Deathwing kill – we’ve had some missed weeks what with Christmas signs etc, so it’s great to see some progress. Hopefully we can reach our potential in the new year with some really good raids and make up for lost time!
Vi passar på att välkomna alla nya guildies!

Diamonds!
Apologies for not updating our status in erm…. forever! We have killed a lot of stuff in the meantime, screenies below. Last time I posted we had done one Firelands heroic. Since then we completed the standard 7/8 hc FL before 4.3 and and we’re 7/8 in Dragon Soul. Hopefully we’ll have it cleared this week so that we can start on the real stuff on reset day!
Good job everyone, but we really need to level up our lining-up-for-screenshot skills!

LoS lag-inducing AoE, check; Run to shiny thing, check; Plate loot, check. Must be an all-new WoW raid!

Blizzard sure is obsessed with bouncing balls

Mr Blobby

I think.... maybe we have to join up the lightning?? DING!

What button????

'Slapper on Beateon!'

After having his sons burned and his balls bounced, Raggy gave up.
Congrats to everyone for your achievements and also those who helped with progress but were unable to be part of the kill.

Now it’s time to do it all again!

What happened last night?
1. Scram forgot Righteous Fury.
2. Mattefjonk found Iceblock (finally).
3. Krisoeh morphed into an AOE paladin.
4. Beateon didn’t.

Result? Kill shot
And yes, that is three shadow priests you spy. (refer to point no. 4)
